   UNIX Skills

·         Unix systems:  Sun Sparc, HP, IBM servers and workstations, Red Hat Linux on Intel servers.

   Network Skills

·         Network architecture planning, configuration, and implementation.

·         Cisco network switches, routers, and wireless access points support and administration.

·         Configure TCP/IP networks utilizing Cisco switches, routers, access points and VLANs.

·         Utilize Cisco Works management package and HP OpenView for network node management.

·         Perform IOS upgrades, configure devices, back up configurations and flash to tftp servers for Cisco equipment.

·        Network sniffer and packet analyzers.

   Customer Support

·         Perform unix user account administration with home, data, and application directory maintenance.

·          Provide workstation installation, networking, and application support to end-user.

·         Obtain and prepare maintenance contracts with manufacturers/resellers for equipment and applications support.

·         Resolve work order tickets for customers in addition to on-call duties for network, servers, and IT services administration.

·         Utilize PC based workstations and laptops for corporate desktop platform running Windows 2000 and XP.

·         Utilize desktop platform with Microsoft applications: MS Exchange and Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Internet Explorer, and Visio.
